Cadum Posted June 29 Posted June 29 When using the Engine Helpers do I still need to map a button to "boost" - I assume this only applies to piston aircraft.

hschuit Posted July 5 Posted July 5 It is not piston only, the F-80 uses the boost command to engage water methanol injection for a shorter take off run. 1 -

But its different key, not „Boost on/off” right? Home cockipt: GPU RTX5090, CPU i7 13900, RAM 64Gb. | Webmaster of yoyosims.pl. VR flying only.
hschuit Posted July 5 Posted July 5 No, the F-80C uses the default 055 Boost: on/off key for water methanol injection. Do not confuse it with the JATO keys, that is a different system (056 Jet boosters: Fire / 057 Jet boosters: Jettison) 1 1 -
