There's some discussion of this in the F-86A specific forum, but I figured that it probably needs mentioning here. Basically, the Sabre currently has a tendency to shear off its wings way too easily in a hard turn. I am able to break one or both wings pulling a 7 G turn at just over 500 knots IAS, and while this is over the max recommended Gs for the aircraft (6 Gs), it's well under the "destructive" G-limit listed in the in-game manual (12 Gs).

The MiG-15, by contrast, seems to have no practical limit to the Gs it can pull. I tried the same test in the MiG, pulling full aft stick at just under 1,000 kph IAS, and it had no problems doing that whatsoever. My pilot blacked out before the plane even let out a creak, and although there is no G-meter in the MiG's cockpit, given that I was wearing the optional G-suit, it seems reasonable to assume that I was probably pulling more than 8 Gs.

Anyway, it seems like the MiG is probably the superior turn fighter at the moment, simply because it can turn without self-destructing. This probably needs fixing. I suspect the MiG's behavior is closest to accurate of the two--given the listed tolerances of these jets, it is reasonable to expect the pilot to pass out before you reach the point of airframe failure in hard maneuvers.

One other thing with the Sabre: the in-game flight manual describes all procedures for this aircraft (takeoff speeds, etc.) using MPH, but the airspeed indicator in the cockpit is in knots. I'm not sure if the numbers given are actually in knots and "MPH" is just a typo, or if the numbers are in MPH and we need to covert them with math to get the correct speeds in knots. (I suspect it's the former.)

Careful what you ask for, us veterans already know how it will be fixed, you'll get a brand new set of new training wheels prohibiting you from ever pulling into that regime of the flight envelope, not a stronger aircraft.

Put up the HUD G meter, true airspeed, and if you have to tune your pitch axis on your stick than adapt.  Be grateful they're allowing you to apply enough stick force to even get there.  And if you still think it's wrong it's on you to provide some evidence.

Guys, let's please watch how we respond here. It's very early in the game's life-cycle, and so many things are still in flux.
