Korea Changes IL-2 Settings

I've been playing around with Korea for two days and finally got everything set up.  It's installed on an external SSD, and not on the internal SSD where IL-2 is installed.  Todaly when I went back to fly in IL-2 the screen resolution was huge!  The title page filled the whole screen and the start page was zoomed in on the side of an aircraft.  I could not see the menus and had to leave the sim.  After fooling arounding with different settings for a couple of hours, I finally selected Full Screen in IL-2 Launcher and got back in with normal resolution.  l haven't used Full Screen in years.  On flying a mission I found some settings changed. The SpeedBar was on Metric  and the external view was on cinematic, neither of which I use.

To be fair, it could have been Windows as there was a Windows update this week.
