timurlane Posted Friday at 12:48 PM Posted Friday at 12:48 PM Yesterday, I downloaded and tried running Korea_IL2Series_Installer.exe. After a long wait, the installer dialog window closed, and I clicked the desktop icon, which started the game download (~11GB). When I tried to run the game, however, I encountered an error message: D:\IL-2\IL2Series\Korea\Game\bin\game\input.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc0e90002 I uninstalled and reinstalled, obtaining the same message. I finally found input.dll on Windows, put a copy in the game directory, and tried to run the game again. This time, I got the same message, but it referenced a file called sceneman.dll. I uninstalled and reinstalled yet again, and upon trying to run the application, received a different error message: The procedure entry point ?instance@ActionMapper@input@@SAPEAV12@XZ could not be located in the dynamic link library D:\IL-2\IL2Series\Korea\Game\bin\game\IL2Series.exe. Using Event Viewer, I found an application entry indicating an application hang: Source: Application Hang Date: 6/25/2026 2:47:28 PM Event ID: 1002 Task Category: Hanging Events Level: Error Keywords: User: SYSTEM Computer: Main_Desktop Description: The program Korea_IL2Series_Installer.tmp version 51.1052.0.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel. I would appreciate any possible assistance you could offer in resolving this issue.
