The 'N' key and the map display.

The new map is great, but when you press the 'N' key (or the assigned key) while in the cockpit, you have to hit Esc to exit. In VR, that’s a real problem.

But the new features are fantastic.

There's a little difference in functionality if you do it in the radial menu instead of hitting "N".  I tried it twice; first time I opened it, then used the radial navigation buttons on my stick and somehow was able to select "back to game" and it was pretty cool.  However, the second time, I ended up getting "into" the map where I could scroll around using the hat switches, but then couldn't get "out" of the map and select "return to game".  

Would it be easier to just have "N" close the map once open? Sure! But it would be equally helpful to see some guidance on how to navigate the map via the radial menu.

I agree with Axurit, the N key should open and close the map.

Having to use the Esc key is not user friendly.

I deleted the keyboard N key assigned default and pegged it direct to a stick DirectX button, pressing it both opens and closes the map every time without any problems while flying.

Did you test in multiplayer ?

In solo, the N key open and close the map. 

But in multiplayer, N open the map, but don't close it. You have to use the esc key.

I still hit "o" LOL - that worked better.

N key turn on and off the map. No need to hit Esc. Works very well for me in VR.

The bug has been confirmed on discord and will be fixed.
