Crashes on 25% loading without any error

Crashes to desktop on 25% of any scenario or mode loading. Also crashes desktop (explorer) itself, so i need to reload it via task manager. Don't know where to find logs, so without them.

Tested at lowest as well as at highest graphics settings, problem stays the same. Wanted to test if issue persists on linux, but IL2 Korea not working with Proton at all.

System specs:

CPU: Ryzen 5 8400F

GPU: RX 6700 XT 12GB

RAM: 8x2 GB DDR5 5200MHz

OS: Windows 11

Fixed this crash by turning off fullscreen mode. 25% crash now occurs only when graphics set to high and gives proper error message "Out of memory". On medium settings it loads properly, but crashes when i hit start after mission loads.

Reinstalled GPU driver. Now no crash when i hit start. Instead it crashes after turning camera around, again without any error message. Also sometimes when mission loading finishes it throws a lot of different "Error loading model *** EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" where '***' stands for location of the file that failed to load. What causing it is unknown, cause it happens randomly. I can't capture those messages via printscreen, because for some reason it's only makes screenshot of the black game window. Despite error message being in focus.

 

Guess i will stay with IL 2 1946 B.A.T. for now, till release or fixes.

Managed to fix the crashes by completely reinstalling Windows. Fps is not that great, but it's probably due to the fact that i have only 16 GB of RAM.

Same here on an Razer16 laptop, RTX2070MaxQ, 16GB RAM.

Had to manually set Il-2 Korea to use the RTX otherwise it would not boot into the game. Now I am in the menu but the game will chrash at 25% every time regardless of settings. I will not reinstall my windows for this.

Total RAM usage peaks at 11GB, this not the bottleneck. 

VRAM is not the limit either.
