wuVR Posted Thursday at 11:23 AM Posted Thursday at 11:23 AM (edited) Hi, i have this issue, where my VR-View was Crosseyed/overlapping wrong. My SteamVR-view is just fine as it is, but as soon as i go back ingame my view is way off. I only ever had this ssue in IL-2 GB and no other Game, i had to set a different ipd-offset via IL_2´s ingame offset to get the View display correctly. Now, with IL-2 Korea and OpenXR, the Offset seems to do nothing and only works when selecting OpenVR instead of OpenXR. This leads to a worse performing Game on my allready dated Hardware. Hardware used, is the HP reverbG2 with Oasis-Driver Anyone having the same Issue or can help a Pilot out? Edited Thursday at 11:29 AM by wuVR
airsheep_VR Posted Thursday at 01:12 PM Posted Thursday at 01:12 PM I have a Pimax Crystal, no such issues here. When I had a G2 I remember 60hz mode caused such issues, maybe you should try to switch 60/90hz modes and check. Bty game vr performance is the worse among the other sims & looks ugly (even I have a decent hw), but it is early access, devs will work on the performance issues Im sure.
Eldur Posted Thursday at 03:01 PM Posted Thursday at 03:01 PM VR seems kinda broken still to me. In both modes (OVR and OXR) the menu is weirdly floating against my head movement. When looking to the right, it moves to the left and the other way round, same with up and down. I also have that x-eyed overlap issue as if there was a software IPD slider that's set way off. Also noticed the menu being like 5-10cm in front of me after recentering which probably causes those issues in the first place, on top of that, if I look at the menu plane from an almost 90° angle, it's at the exact same position on both eyes, basically completely ignoring my actual IPD. In other words, both eyes seem to get the exact same picture, completely lacking any spatial separation. Using Quest 3 via Virtual Desktop. OXR mode bypasses SteamVR as expected and also works without. Also, in both VR modes, recentering via the Quest controller does nothing. I have to press NP5 (or something else with that mapping) instead, which isn't great.
