Raplebre Posted June 25 Posted June 25 On turning on tracking using Opentrack, in-game cursor starts moving to the top-left corner (UDP over network input, regardless if anything else is actually providing the tracking) or bottom-right corner (NeuralNet Tracker input). This causes difficulties in selecting options in menus, aircraft view in main menu, and map navigation in Briefing view, as in the latter case, as soon as you press any mouse button, the map will start being dragged in the cursor's bugged direction. 1
Raplebre Posted June 25 Author Posted June 25 To give further details, the "in-game cursor" mentioned is the circle that appears when using arrow keys in the aircraft viewer, for example, so it might possibly be related to those inputs. This bug has not happened in my most recent attempt.
Thorrior Posted June 25 Posted June 25 How can I activate Opentrack in the game? I got a Track Hat v.2. Only got it recently, so I'm not familiar with it. I used TrackIR before.
Red_Dragon Posted June 28 Posted June 28 Seems I ve got the same problem, I use opentrack too and I see such behavior sometimes
401GATOR Posted June 29 Posted June 29 I had a similar problem. My cursor would always move down forcing the map with it. I had deleted the assignments In Interface->Cursor(left and right), (up and down). There was nothing there. You have to use a joystick of some kind. It had initially setup my mini-stick to control this but I didn't want that. That's probably when it started happening to me. I ended up programming my main joystick as the controls. That fixed it.
HybridHanger Posted July 2 Posted July 2 I saw this yesterday, but only after opening OpenTrack AFTER IL2K. If I open OpenTrack first, it seems to be OK.
splash Posted July 2 Posted July 2 I have a similar problem but with TrackIR5. When entering IL2 Korea it's impossible to click on anything with the mouse, it's as if the focus keeps shifting all the time, as if some key were being held down. While flying, when I press ESC and the menu appears, something similar happens — the selection rapidly moves downward and it's impossible to click on any option with the mouse. I've tried disabling TrackIR and it stops happening.
Kageseigi Posted July 3 Posted July 3 Yes, my my game is doing the same thing. I'm using TrackIR5 also, though I don't know if that's what the cause is. Not only is the cursor moving up and to the left, menu buttons are going crazy... like they they are being iterated through or selected and deselected extremely fast. Sometimes, I can get it to randomly stop by pressing random key or something... but it doesn't always stop, and there doesn't seem to be a consistent counter or reason.
