Alt + tab in windowed mode freezes the game

Using windowed mode freezes the sim and doesn't work till you stay in the window for a few minutes.

Having exactly same issue. Doesnt matter if iam in windowed or full screen mode. Both freeze after going back to game.

Same, it's getting pretty frustrating.
I was getting better results with forcing the game in borderless mode with the NoMoreBorder app, but I still get occasional alt-tab crashes.

Hello!

I have 0 issues abusing alt-tab.

I also had this fix since I got Windows as I had various games with similar issues:

For me the only way I could fix it was with a clean windows install. No tweaks or anything that style... Not the best "solution".

Same problem here, when I alt-tab to desktop I can't return to the game any more. Needs multiple tries to get back
