Roland_HUNter Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Hello everyone, I have been comparing the in-game Target FPS limiter with RTSS and noticed a significant difference in frame consistency. In-game Target FPS set to 100 FPS: Average FPS: 100 1% Low: ~79 FPS 0.1% Low: can drop to ~60 FPS RTSS frame limiter set to 100 FPS: Average FPS: 100 1% Low: remains at 100 FPS 0.1% Low: typically stays above 80 FPS Based on my testing, RTSS provides noticeably better frame pacing and smoother gameplay despite both methods limiting the game to the same 100 FPS. Has anyone else observed similar results? Is there a technical reason why the in-game Target FPS limiter appears to produce significantly worse 1% and 0.1% low performance than RTSS?
