PROXIMVS Posted June 16 Posted June 16 Where does one find the tanks for sale: used or new? I can't even find a used tank salesman anywhere! I have the Bodenplatte Module and I was really hoping the M-18 Hellcat would be available. I was a bit surprised when I discovered that only two tanks were available to me, and both not in use in NW Europe in 1944 or 45: a T-34/76 and a Panzer IIIL. I mean, maybe if the map was Norway or Yugoslavia the Panzer IIIL might still be in use, but it definitely was not in use in Belgium, Luxembourg, France, the Netherlands or Germany by then. The only vehicles I can find on the website are two SP ADA pieces, a Stug III and a Churchill I-Tank. I have seen videos of players tooling around in Panzer VIE's and a variety of other tanks. Where ever are they found?

No, but they are more for the Eastern Front at this time. There are many tankers that are still wishing for a few new tanks... but only time will say if that wish will happen! Have fun tanking! The only 'Western allies' tanks are the Sherman M4A2 and the Churchill, but both are plausible for use on the Normandy and Rheinland maps. The limitations are the AI's inability to act autonomously, and the limited ground detail of the maps themselves. Still, you can have some good fun playing around with the vehicles.

There's an early Sherman variant in a green you can pretend is olive drab if you try. And the German tanks can be used on the Western front. You can almost pretend that Panzer IVG is an H. And there's the Churchill. Those ADA pieces around Bonn-Hangelar are learning to fear me ... but those Shermans are really getting on my nerves in that Panzer IIIL and I am not much liking that triangle gunsight. A tank crew would be handy. The switch between Commander and Gunner positions is too slow.
