How to fly as a wingman in the Quick Mission mode？

How to fly as a wingman in the Quick Mission mode of IL-2 BOS? After chooseing how many aircrafts join the mission  I only play as the lead aircraft.How to become a wingman in the mission?

I don't think this is possible in QMB.

It is not directly possible but in this way:

-Start the mission with the selected settings / planes.
-End the mission
-open this mission with the Mission Editor:

-Search the players flight
-double click on a wingman plane that you want to fly and set it to player:

-Save this mission as a single player missions (mission name, file name, mission type

from normally:

to e. g.:

I recomment to use the same mission / file name

Mission editor MAnual:

Additionally I suggest to try out EMG by Vander, with this you can select wingman as required:

There you can fly as No.2 or last wingmen in the lead or the escort flight:
