Sticky Center with Opentrack head tracking

I am using Opentrack (with Beam Eye Tracker) as my headtracking option, and it works fine in every other game like DCS, MFS, etc.

But in IL2, for some reason it activates this weird stick-to-center deadzone which almost locks the pilots head on the gunsight and requires too much effort for me to look to the side.
If I look far to the side, it unlocks from the gun sight and let's me look around, which also seems to be under a heavy smoothing filter.

But if i look anywhere near the gun sight, it will automatically lock in to it again.

I have figured out if i switch to "Camera: Head-Unlinked Cockpit", the annoying stick-to-center disappears. But this mode isn't optimal because it doesnt allow me to move the pilot's head, it only let's you turn it and look around. So i can't peek around the gun sight.

Which is why I have to use the regular camera mode which is called "Camera: Player Cockpit".

I have tried all camera modes in the settings, nothing worked.
I have also tried all the output modes inside of Opentrack.

I have friends who use TrackIR in il2 and they don't have this issue.
So there is something about Opentrack that activates this smoothing filter.

How can I get rid of this?

Do you have deadspace set on your yaw and pitch mapping?Screenshot2026-06-02221658.png.c79d6b27b20345181caf4a0a4c366a64.png
