Hey everyone!

Today, we are starting our Gameplay Feature video series, where we will take a closer look at different features and elements of Korea. IL-2 Series.

The first episode is dedicated to the Museum — a place where players can learn more about the aircraft, vehicles, and historical context of the Korean War in the game.

Great stuff! Is there also a new „letuchka“ on the horizon? 🙂

Will there be a drone view option like in MSFS in the Museum?

Great to see!! This option might not be important for some, but it highlights one of the things Il-2 do the best: Recreate a theater of war with multiple units. And also will show the detail that went into all of those.

Thanks team! looking great!

I would have hated going into combat in the Blue uniforms. I'll take the WW2 Brown/OD, or 1951 Sage over Bright Blue any day.

What is the meaning of the little icon next to Campaigns tab? Locked? Do Campaigns quality as "story driven single player Campaign" , as to be released later, as the interview stated, or is the "Commander Campaign" it was spoken about in a dev's diaries?

Looks cool! I was that kid that would look at every model and read the bios in all the Janes games. Also did the same in IL-2 1946 when that came out, read the bio for every airplane. Being the US we didn't learn that much about the Eastern Front WW2 in school so it was pretty cool to read up. Looking forward to learning more about the Korean War through this sim!

I may be blind, but I looked at it several times but I could not see the Campaigns tab. Do you mean the Career tab?

And my other question similar to yours is "story driven single player Campaign" a career mode like in GB or is it just Scripted Campaign?

Career mode and the traditional static campaigns are both planned for Korea, if that is what you meant, yes. 🙂

yes, my mistake. i ment Career. so. we will have both Career and Campaigns (like scripted) in the forseeable future, but not from the very start. Right?

that's very, very good.

Thx, Luke.

rerereading the interview, i think it's the scripted. since it's story driven.

To answer your original question, the little "locked" icon appears to be a number [0] zero, presumably indicating that there are zero careers in process.

My impression is that particular comment refers to the Career mode, but it could be either one. I guess we will find out in a few weeks. I am sure there will be enough things to do to keep everyone occupied for a while regardless of the semantics.

It looks incredible, looking forward to experiencing it first hand.

I have to say Im starting to get worried that we have not seen a single airfield mechanic, or any life form in the airfields. I was reading between the lines that this would definitely be in game, but given how close we are to release I wonder if that's not going to be there at launch.

There will be airfield personnel; we just haven't shown them yet.

There is a dev blog with peasants all around and stuff. Guess some people will be at the airfields too!

What i honestly wonder is: who will want to clash at 12k meters if there is such an awesome environment?? Ground pounding, mud moving, that's the thrill, at least at start.

The sea is incredibly natural. Well done you! I can't wait for carrier operation. And if it's PTO next, it will be a delight to fly over pacific islands 🙂

I must say that the city close up at 12" seems a bit empty... Some people have said that building alone are not enough. It lacks some props to make it alive. People or crowds walking around, cars, horses and carriages in the countryside, columns of refugees on the road fleeing the front line... crossing a whole regiment walking the other way... Just daydreaming but would be cool 😉

It's gonna be awesome anyways !

Great work !

The sea looks swell. But will we get white caps? That is the question.

1C, 4K has been here for quite some time now. Why is 1440 the highest resolution for this video? In the best interest of promoting everything you have worked for in IL2 Korea 4K is a must. Wake up gents, it's 2026 and a half!

Edit: That being said, this video still looks stunning, but how about some 4K going forward please, like your previous 5 seasons video.

Note that Han answered a question about the loading times in the comments:  "Game loading time several times shorter. Mission loading time some shorter too."

Does look lovely, still hoping we see some gameplay and info of the AI in action though.

Yea, one would think if the AI had been significantly improved that 1C would want to highly publicize those improvements and show it in action. There is still 16 days left until early access.
