Uriah Posted May 17 Posted May 17 I am Looking for a mission or something having like 18 fighter interceptors up against 27 bombers and 12 escort fighters. I do recall having at least three interceptors attacking a small set of bombers but I can't seem to even find that. Do folk have the ability to make missions (not campaigns)? Is there any mission available that has so many planes as I first mentioned? Just what mission is out there that is even a little like I have described?
sandmarken Posted May 17 Posted May 17 (edited) There should be no problem creating a mission like that, but that amount of planes could test the limit of your computer's CPU, especially the bombers since they have so many MG stations to calculate. One mission inside my campaign downfall (sorry its a campaigns as you asked not for) has a mission with alot of bombers being intercepted by something like ish 20 interceptors. Uriah Posted May 18 Author Posted May 18 I am interested in getting your campaign. I'll be gone until next Friday.
Jaegermeister Posted May 18 Posted May 18 That is 57 planes. You will definitely have time distortion issues with that many planes active at 1 time. The theoretical limit is 30, so I never go over that. Ryzen 7 7800X3D Raphael 4.2GHz CPU/ 32GB DDR5-6000 PC5-48000 CL36 RAM / Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24GB GDDR6 GPU / ASUS Tuf Gaming B650E MB / 2x 1 TB Samsung 970 EVO+ M.2 HD / MSI 1000 Watt PS / HP Reverb G2 VR / TM Warthog Joystick / Moza MTQ Throttle / Saitek Pro Flight Rudder / MaxFalcon 20 Keypad Emulator / BBI-32 Leo Bodnar USB switch panel / Windows 11
GiftGruen Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Also the ( great! btw ) Gruenherz Dora campaign shows somewhat larger bomber formations, including defendig amd attacking fighters. not 57 though. This is probably beyond the reasonable limit.
Z_F Posted Friday at 07:20 AM Posted Friday at 07:20 AM ZWii Frankfurt.zip There's waves of bombers in this, and other stuff going on. S!
