Are the Manual Radiator and Mixture Controls MIA?

Is there anywhere in Flying Circus where the engine mixture and radiator vanes are not automatic? 

Seems to me there used to be but I can't find them anywhere now; not even in Multiplayer. 

I'd like to simplify manually controlling the mixture and radiator with two-key macros assigned to a micro keyboard in my D7F sim pod.

Flying Circus Key Assignment says Mixture is Control - or +; Radiator is Alt - or +.  My keyboard says those keys are working but there's nothing in the sim to use them with.

Been looking and testing but no luck so far.  Out of ideas.  Any help?

What plane? Not every aircraft has adjustable coolers or mixture. I think rotary engines never have adjustable coolers.

The Pfalz D.IIIa and Halberstadt CL.II do have adjustable watercoolers. The coolers are in the upper right wing and you can see it moving, there is a long handle. (need to adjust view accordingly) It also displays in technochat.

I have it set to an controller axis, now I just tested with keyboard and that worked too.

There are so many different radiator controlls, maybe you are binding the wrong one?

Also in realism settings, "cooler control help" (or whatever the english translation is) must be disabled.

From the loading creen.Look in Settings / Keybinds /Engine controls and you will see radiator, mixture and altitude throttle (for D7f and Pfalz D12)

Testing mixture controls in the Fokker Dr1 and radiator with the Albatros DVa.  The keys are bound according to the FC settings; see my first post above.  They light up and indicate they are functional but they don't do what I'd like them too. 

I've tried Quick Missions, Skirmishes, Campaigns, Missions, every WW1 multiplayer site, and about half of the dozen maps Zooropa Fly gave me.  The mixture lever acts like a bot and so do the radiator vanes.   

My Custom settings have no form of assistance with the controls whatsoever.  No cooler help.  I fly it as bare bones as I can.

Thanks for your input but I'm still lost.

Gutholz: they operate automatically.

J37 Spyboy: I went back and checked.  For mixture, I had one glitch: it's gotta be Right Control.  Left control won't do it.  When I use my usual keyboard, the mixture works in a Dr1. 

Radiators do work in a DVa, too.  But both of these only work through my regular keyboard.  When I try to work it in macros, no go. 

It's late.  I'll take a shot at it again tomorrow.

Okay, I got back up and figured it out.  I was not understanding the difference between, say, Control and Right Control.  The Dr1 and the Alby are behaving characteristically now.   I got the altitude throttle on the D7F working, too.

The lesson here: make sure you copy the published key bindings exactly into your keyboard macros.  If it doesn't work, go back and check it again.  There is an answer; sometimes we just miss it, is all.
