Looking for old French fonts (where 2 looks like 9)

Hello, when you choose numbers to put on the side of your plane in the hangar, there are Allied numbers where the 2 is almost closed, looking like the number 9.  And I've seen that style in photos on SPAD rudder stencils, etc.  Do any skin-makers know the name of an actual font that has this (hopefully a free font I can download)?  I've looked up and down font sites, and cannot find anything close.  Thanks.
