Militery_Dowg Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Hello everyone, how 'yall doing? I'm trying to go back to headtracking after some time of not doing it, and it came up with an issue as I was setting it up For some reason, the game is having some problem dealing with head tracking, and with a quick look, I've found out that the problem is the game itself, as opentrack shows all the head movements just fine, while in the game, the head shakes like crazy! Here is a video for better understanding: The Headtracker's movement il2 headtrack(1) .mp4 And what the game interprets this as: il2 headtrack(2) .mp4 Hopefully, someone might know how to fix this, because I have no idea of what could be causing it. kraut1 Posted May 1 Posted May 1 (edited) Hi, I am a beginner with head tracking. Since 1 month I am using a low cost solution with just a 8 years old webcam and Opentrack-2026 1.0 as an alternative additionally to my Rift-S. Altogether seen it works for me sufficient. I am still learning to use it, especially in dogfights it's not easy. But I have to admit that the immersion is not equal, but similar as with VR. settings.zip Edited May 1 by kraut1
Dash,Polder Posted May 2 Posted May 2 More than likely the head tracking center and game center are set to different points and it's confused, each trying to take control. Much like when two separate controllers are assigned to throttle and one is being actively used and the other has a worn out jumpy pot, you get the same effect on power. The fix is assign center button for both on the same button. 1
