Dai That's how it goes... practice makes ... ahhh ... better! Give it a few years, you will be able to headshot the pilot on the first burst. Maybe. GiftGruen Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Yes. And as a true gentlemen and ace you achieve this by using the Luger 08 - only beginners need the Spandaus to be victorious.

However, as gentleman we must remember young Dai has a lot to learn and we must never be so vulgar as to make a fuss, regardless of his unknown breeding and standing in society. I prefer a Webley Mk VI revolver myself. Single shot, job done old man.
GiftGruen Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Well. I must admit that, flying for the Kaiser and therefore beeing part of the wilhelminian big mouthed show-off-society …. i am somewhat vulgar by nature. Also this should be taken serious as part of a flight simulation, I think. Aaaachtunggg 🪖😅
BlitzPig_EL Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Gentlemen please, it is widely known among the RNAS that the Webley Fosbery is the superior side arm.

Nealg49 Posted May 15 Posted May 15 Being as old as I am, I can't see them anyway, so WW1 appeals to me. These crates were basically just cloth and wood ; as has so oft been repeated, the real vulnerable areas are the engine and, yeah, the pilot. So getting in as close as possible, from below, above, or to the sides, and you might ( if you are not me ) have a better chance at downing a enemy plane. Of course, you could get very lucky and hit a important wing support strut, causing their wing to collapse and ruining their whole day. Meanwhile, their AI wingman, Deadeye Dick, gets behind you and shoots all your wing support struts in two and making you wish they had invented parachutes earlier. It will get better. After several months of daily practice, and letting Otto Pilot land and watching carefully, I finally reached a point I can land a Spitfire without killing my pilot. I make no claims about propeller or wing damage, however. And I still can't hit anything. And forget (fighter) bombing ; if there's a city within 100 miles of my target, my bombs will likely hit the city rather than my intended target.
