Hello, I've had IL2 since its release, but in the latest version, I can't center the view in the P-51 B. If you have any tips to fix this bug...And it's the same in VR.

Centering and saving the default cockpit view in IL-2 Sturmovik: Great Battles (BoX) is done by adjusting your head position and using the F10 key to save it for that specific aircraft. This process works for both 2D and VR, though VR requires an additional centering step.

Steps to Center and Save Default View (2D & VR)
  1. Enter the Cockpit: Start a mission in the desired aircraft.
  2. Disable Head Tracking: If you use TrackIR or similar, pause it temporarily.
  3. Use Default Keys to Adjust: Use the following default keys to adjust your view (move head) to the desired position:
    • Delete/End: Move head left/right.
    • Insert/Home: Move head forward/backward.
    • Page Up/Page Down: Move head up/down.
    • Numpad 5: Reset to the current default center (use this as a starting point).
  4. Save the View: Once the view is positioned correctly (looking at the gunsight/instruments), press F10 to save this position as the new default for that plane.

VR Specific Adjustments
  • Recenter View: After saving with F10, press your assigned "Center VR/Track IR view" key (e.g., Num 5 or a controller button) to align everything in the headset.
  • Alternative: Move your physical head to the desired position, then press F10, and finally press your "Center VR" binding.

Other Tips
  • Resetting Views: If you mess up the views, you can delete the specific aircraft's .svc file in data/LuaScripts/snapviews or copy files from the defaults folder to reset it.
  • Per-Plane Setting: You must perform this action for every aircraft as it saves on a per-plane basis.
