External views lost.

Comrade Aviators,

The fascist gremlins are bugging me again.

The following functions simply cannot be set up to work on my global profile.

• F2 External friendly or player aircraft
• F3 External flyby player aircraft
• F4 Tail above and astern view of player aircraft

They were there 2 days ago, but have now disappeared. I have restarted the game and my PC, but it persists. Must be in game software.

However...,

They are in the mapping key setting global profile. 

I have tried L/shift + F2, alt F2, ctrl etc, but nothing works. 

I have checked my keyboard, and the F1-F12 keys work fine. 

I have tried to remap these views to one of many HAT keys on my HOTAS controller, but that hasnt worked either.

There are no ingame error messages to report.

 

Any ideas? Could this have anything to do with Ironman setting? (I don't know what Ironman is but I tried it on a career mode.)

"Ironman" means hardcore realism, for example when you get killed you get killed forever and cannot replay the same mission. Do the external views work in the quick missions?

I thought that was Ironman mode. External views didnt work in any mode. They do now thanks to LukeFF
