Hello people

 

In the old forum, before it moved here, there was a section about IL-2 CoD/Tobruk and here its nearly empty.

As I really want to fly  over the desert in italian planes, I hoped to find here something, regarding to Multiplayer Events for Tobruk.

I can remember, I flew few times on such events and it was always fun.

 

Off course I would like to play single player campaigns too, but unfortunally there is none?

I would love to fly the G.50 and I asked an AI if there is any G.50 campaign available for Tobruk.

AI said there should be a custom made one, but nor I can find it here in the new or in the old forum.

 

Any help is welcomed 🙂

There is a reason for that. Cliffs of Dover as a brand has been sold to Fulqrum Publishing. They hold the brand and are responsible for all sorts of support for it.

For multiplayer, be sure to keep tabs on the ATAG forum as they regularly host events: https://theairtacticalassaultgroup.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=475

In the recent past there has been the Lampione Rock and Defence of Siwa events (which were on the Tobruk map).

 

In case you are interested, here is a link to Yo-Yo's FMB guide - it covers how to use the FMB and how to create a custom campaign: https://theairtacticalassaultgroup.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34051

You'd be able to edit an existing campaign to fly as the G.50 or you can create your own missions (it is quite easy to make simple missions).

Thank you guys for the infos and links.

I just had a quick overlook into the topics and I will try it out.

Hopefully I can manage that, as I am not the brightest in regards to files and stuff normally 🫣😆

Even though I’ve deleted the decals layer in the .dds template for the Bf109F-4 in the Battle of Stalingrad, it continues to overwrite my plane modifications in Desert Wings: Tobruk (the inclusion of red wing tabs, for example). I’m doing something wrong, of course, but don’t know what. Can wiser heads help?
