Leningrad=bad FPS

I am flying with the Pimax Crystal Light, I-9 14900K, RTX 4080 Super.  On the Leningrad map my FPS is dropping from 90 into the 50s and 60s.  Is anyone else having this issue?  If so, have you found a way to improve your FPS?  Any real experience suggestions welcome and appreciated.

Hm - I also fly with Crystal Light I-5 14600KF but 5090 and quite high settings ( MSAAx4 + Pimax slider at 1.0 ).

To me the Leningrad map feels like other areas, I have no special "drops" that seem to be caused by the map.

Do you have this problems when you fly directly over the city or also in outer regions ?

I have trouble flying over Leningrad.  Clearly, the polygons eat a lot of FPS.

@GiftGruen As I get closer to Leningrad, my FPS starts dropping and my visuals look fuzzier.  I fail to find enjoyment under these conditions. 🥹

Tried this - and - yes, you are right.

Direct over the city, my fps also dropped down to 40..50  - this was in a career episode with quite a lot of planes ( bomber formation, attacking and defending fighters ). The map itself seems to be fine, it's probably really only the high number of polygons directly over Leningrad.

Other than down-tuning your settings ( lower resolution and so on ) which also affects visual appearance outside of Leningrad, I have no idea how to get rid of this.

@GiftGruen Or maybe I will have to spend another couple thousand on computer upgrades...sigh.  I will eventually spend the money on upgrades, although hard to say when, so this experience may be postponed until some distant future date.

У меня такая же беда на Quest3 и RTX4080 Super. При подлете к Ленинграду чувствительная просадка ФПС. Наверное нужна RTX5090...
