1C Game Studios LukeFF Posted March 20 1C Game Studios Posted March 20 Hey everyone! Every flight and aviation enthusiast knows the feeling: you step into the pilot’s cockpit and see this kingdom of engineering triumph—handles, switches, buttons, gauges. Your eyes eagerly scan every element, searching for familiar words and units of measurement so you can make sense of it all as quickly as possible and begin a “dialogue” with the machine: to understand what it is trying to tell you, and how you can respond in turn. Today, we’d like to tell you—and show you—how this vital element of every steel bird is brought to life. Read more on our website — https://media.il2-korea.com/news/dd_65/ 13 3 2
jocko417 Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Amazing work. I know you guys were finding it difficult to find accurate pictures/info on the various cockpit placards, if I could offer one correction, the little placard for the speed brake switch between the flap lever and throttle should read (from front to back): UP <switch> DOWN SPEED BRAKE Rather than “both” instead of down, and “speed break” instead of speed brake. Reference is the flight manual, in written description. Still trying to find photo evidence which is, as you guys have most definitely found, difficult to say the least. Can’t wait to fly it! 1
jocko417 Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Another one: On the Sight Filament selector panel to the left of the gunsight dimmer knob, the bottom switch should be labeled “DOT”, not “OUT”. The two switches were used to select either primary or secondary filaments for both the circle and dot reticle types. 2 2

IckyAtlas Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I must recognize that the cockpit pictures are photorealist. If this is what we get in the sim at 120 FPS then you have my money. Oh I forgot but I already gave my money long ago. So, now I see that it was a good investment indeed. Continue this excellent work! Congrats for the cockpit. Now just keep this level for all the flyable planes and I will continue investing. 1
