Hello Julian, sorry if I bother you, if would be possible to have a skin for III./JG27 in Normandy during 1944? 😬

Many thanks. 🙏

Hi @Marvel
Are you looking for a skin for the G-14 III./JG27?
Since you didn't include an image or profile, I'm assuming you're leaving the camouflage up to me.
Let me know.

Hello Julian, I tried to looking for some reference but I didn't find nothing, apart for Trop type or in North Africa profiles.

So, if is not too tiresome, I'll leaving the camo to your choice.

Many thanks!

 @Marvel

Do you want it with a code on the fuselage and a swastika?

Ok @Marvel
The shields or emblems weren't used at that time, but I'll include them anyway.

It doesn't look like the colors of RLM 74,75, or 76,

although RLM 76 is similar.

There's too much green and dark color in RLM 74. In my opinion.

A fictional skin based on this profile and text.

As we don't have G-10 :classic_angry:

In March of 1945, most of the Jagdwaffe was fighting in the Eastern Front with JG 4 based around the Oder River. The I. Gruppe was based at Guben with 35 Bf 109 G-10s and K-4s on strength and with them the full complement of 35 pilots.

@KOHTYP

There are still discrepancies regarding RLM colours and their variations, and it depends on where you look, because those same RLM colour codes vary depending on the source you consult.
I use different sources and can say that they do differ from one another.
Ultimately, I go with the ones that most closely match the profile or shade I like.
I’m not looking for absolute precision either.

Nice skin Julian!

Great work.

Yes, the G-10 is missing.

Messerschmitt Flugzeugwerke Rgb or Wiener-Neustädter Flugwerke series.  These are my favorite ones.

Do you plan to make some IL-2m44 skins too. There are too less of them!

Thanks for your work!

Aaah late war RLM colors are an eternal debate....

Considering the chaos, the shortage of pigments an differents suppliers you can play with the colors at your ease no choice will be wrong or good.

In general, it's indeed a mess. Although, there are some generally accepted standards based on the plant a particular plane was built in. For example, the JG 4 109G-10 posted above. It's an Erla built plane and the latest research suggests that they continued using RLM 74  for the darker camouflage color until sometime in April 1945 when the overall dark green (probably RLM 81) scheme became the standard for Erla.
