Look at the positions of the loop antenna and MW-50 fill port / stencil on the spine. Those items swapped position on from the G series to the K. On a G-10 the antenna would be closer to the canopy and the MW-50 port one station aft. Here's a G-10 profile from the same artist to illustrate: Spoiler Edited March 10 by Devil5O5

CrazyhorseB34 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 (edited) It is a G-10. Look it does not have gear door covers. Maybe they fell off. It is still cool! Great work! Edited March 10 by CrazyhorseB34

KOHTYP Posted April 10 Posted April 10 In my opinion, the green color is too bright and dark here. There is too much of it. Compared to the sample! 2
E69_julian57 Posted April 10 Author Posted April 10 This was an all-out effort to stop the Red Army advance toward the capital Berlin. However, while taxiing his Bf 109 K-4 'Black Chevron 1' prior to take-off the aircraft's landing gear sank into a filled-in waterlogged bomb crater. This effectively ended his mission and thus ensured Fw. Kurt-Hermann Claussen would survive the war. This is a typical Mtt. GmbH-produced K-4 from the 332xxx production block camouflaged in RLM 75 and RLM 81 (dark green version). The sub-contracted tail assembly was painted a basecoat of RLM 75 followed with large hard-edge patches of dark green (variant of RLM 81?) applied with a stencil. 1

It was used by JG 52's Geschwader stab. The red tulip was a marking used by Hermann Graf, the JG 52 Kommodore, but it was seemingly used on all planes in the Geschwader stab, not just Graf's. Here's some further info on Hartman's last documented aircraft and the Red-Tuliped JG 52 Geschwader Stab. https://falkeeins.blogspot.com/2013/11/hartmanns-last-erla-built-bf-109-g-10.html https://falkeeins.blogspot.com/2011/09/erich-hartmanns-last-bf-109-g-10.html Edited April 15 by Devil5O5 Added reference 1

Devil5O5 Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Asisbiz is notorious for having incorrect photo captions. It's a great source for photos, but you really can't trust the info given with them. This is just another case. 1 2
