Todt_Von_Oben Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Do any of the water-cooled airplane engines in Flying Circus allow manual control of the mixture, as well? I see rotaries with manual mixture controls; and recips with manual radiator shutters. But I don't see any recips with both radiator and mixture controls. Do they exist anywhere in Flying Circus Missions, Campaigns, or Multi-Player? Quote
Czech693 Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Yes, the allied inline engine and V8 engine planes. Bristols, Spads, Se5a, Dolphin, etc. The German, generally no mixture except for the Fokker D.VIIF and Pfaltz D.Xii, which have high altitude (air) mixture controls. You have to advance (or retard depending on the plane) the mixture control on those allied planes or the engine won't start (unless you have auto mixture on). 1 Quote
Todt_Von_Oben Posted March 1 Author Posted March 1 (edited) "Yes, the allied inline engine and V8 engine planes." OMG! I've been dealing with this the better part of a week in Central planes and never once even thought about checking the Entente aircraft. duh. Thanks for the vector. I'll check but I expect you're right. Mission accomplished. S! 🫡 Addit: Checked and verified. Entente radiator planes have adjustable mixtures; Central planes mostly do not. Still, I wish they did. 😎 Edited March 1 by Todt_Von_Oben Quote
