pilot bailing out screams

Hey everyone,
I saw a video on YouTube where the pilot screams during the jump.
Is that a mod? If so, where can I get it?

I believe it's just an edit the person did in after the fact. I believe I know who you're talking about though, I jumped immediately and looked through here myself a while back and could not find anything. But who knows!

I think Wolfpack345 or a similar youtuber is adding those sounds when editing the video, pretty certain I saw a comment about that.

I think that I would have uttered the odd scream if I had to bail out of a flaming aircraft at 20,000ft🤪

It wouldn't be audible over the radio, and moreover, you probably would have trouble hearing yourself scream in freefall at those altitudes... at least that is what I suspect. That said, could be dramatic.

You can’t hear yourself or anyone else as you leave the plane because of engine noise and wind noise of about 80 mph forward velocity, nor in in freefall because of at least 110 mph wind noise at terminal velocity. And of course, the radio would be cut off as the plug was pulled out by the inertia of leaving the plane.

If jumping from a smaller plane, like a Cessna 172 or a Maule bush plane with much slower forward speed, I suppose you could briefly hear your own scream for a moment or two.  I can’t speak to the wind noise of a plane whose engine is not running. 

You can talk to each other under canopy, provided you wear a helmet with open ears and are close enough to each other.
