What excites you the most about the changes in Korea compared to Great Battles?

Hello and thank you for this inquiry regarding our expectations for IL-2 Korea.

Having a good understanding of the entire IL-2 series (IL-2 FB, IL-2 1946, BoS, Tank Crew, and CoD), I'm eager to see the improvements this version will bring. Looking closely at the screenshots, we can see a significant improvement in modeling, animation, and rendering, particularly in terms of textures, lighting, and brightness. We hope for real-time weather and time management, like in X-Plane or MSFS. We also hope for a multiplayer mode, and the ability to change skins and armaments and customize aircraft settings as easily as in DCS. Mission creation should be much simpler than in IL-2 BoS or Tank Crew. DCS remains a benchmark for simple mission creation. Also, the ability to switch from 2D to VR with a simple key combination, as in MSFS2024, is a real plus. The choice of Korea is very interesting because it represents the period of transition from propeller-driven to jet aircraft. I trust the development team who, as usual with each installment of the series, have always managed to bring a wealth of innovation to flight simulation. Thank you for all your work.

Potential for inclusion of rotary aircraft. I think it's really either this game or never at all for legendary and underappreciated machines like the H19 Chickasaw. A whole entire way of waging war and eleviating suffering was introduced and refined in this conflict and I'm hoping players will be allowed to experience it some time after the release.

good luck with running water! I made dam beaker missions with Il-2 1946, and simulated the water running out the Dam Buster missions... (of course the water did not really run **sad)

Korea is a combat theatre with the possibility of introducing and flying period helicopters.  I very much hope that the developers take up this opportunity in the near future.

It is very healthy stuff.  Just had some with my lunch.   Yum!  Now, if I could fly a helicopter in IL-2 Korea after having kimchi with my lunch then that would be just great! 👍

Perhaps it would be better to let the few enthusiasts rush to buy this new release... we'll see who cries and who smiles to form an opinion... I already have mine, but we can be wrong, right?

Well how about jetpacks then. Should not be beyond 1C's capabilities. Useful for recon and aerial assault on ground troops as this image illustrates. Although I'm doubtful of its authenticity.

The new code, pretty good odds it'll finally allow my system to rip loose in VR.  Right now the more voltage and $$$ you throw at Great Battles IL-2 the bigger the deminishment in any return.
