Vendigo Posted February 14 Posted February 14 (edited) I'm using Trackir same as always, and all of a sudden the centered view (F12) is like this (shifted to the right), which makes playing very uncomfortable. I had a similar problem several years ago, and I was advised to reset the view settings (by editing a file), but I can't remeber what it is. Can anyone help please! 1

-)-MAILMAN- Posted April 25 Posted April 25 If either accidentally or purposely if you enabled the Precision mode in Track Ir the head position shifts to one side when centering regardless of your F10 setting. I don't know why it does this, but it does and it took me a long time to find out what was causing it. I had been enabling Precision mode as soon as I got in the cockpit and noticed the offset head centering. Once I switched off Precision mode I could center my head normally. I rarely use Precision mode except possibly attacking ground targets and bombers. The explanation for Precision that I got is that you should only be using Precision Mode when you are closing in on your target to reduce excess head (view) movements. Once you don't need that reduced head movement Precision mode should be turned off and you can center your head again normally. I hope this helps you out. @={=MAILMAN=>
