"The German Sixth Army accomplished something in May 1944 that no other Wehrmacht force had been able to accomplish since late 1942:  it managed to penetrate a major Red Army bridgehead defense and destroyed or drove away most of the bridgehead's defenders.  Furthermore, the Sixth Army added insult to the 3rd Ukrainian Front's injury by doing so not once but twice against two Soviet bridgeheads in two separate locations."

At the Dnestr [Hs129] (Airstarts) is a pack of 12 single-player missions and it is adapted from the original campaign of the same name.  The Player will fly the Hs 129 on the Odessa map.  Missions take place during April and May 1944, just after the Red Army has liberated Odessa and has pushed the Axis armies back, all the way to the Dnestr River.  Here, the Axis put up a strong defense while the Soviets try to expand bridgeheads across the river.

In this scenario, a small detachment of Romanian Hs 129s uses forward airfields in the Kishinev area to attack the enemy at the Dnestr River.  Friendly fighters fly ahead to clear the skies so that the vulnerable Hs 129s can do their dirty work.  They fly at very low level to avoid detection.

*Notes:  You MUST HAVE the Odessa and Leningrad module for the ODESSA MAP and the Hs 129 Collector Plane.

Mission descriptions are in English-only, sorry.
