Anyway, we took May 1 very easy, doing some studies and laptop updates with Ria.

Murphy, bad boy! Lizards are good guys. Go hunt some rodents instead.

Yes and we have a lot of them

this is a adult big sea eagle. Wing span around two meter. They seldom attack dogs, in special close to humans. They are normally not as aggressive as golden eagle that is a bit smaller. 
Sea eagles often sits just a hounded meter from my house lurking on sea otters and try to scare fish from them, or attack gooses. 
Seen some unsuccessful attempts on the latter. Once gooses are airborne they are faster.

In Finland there's a saying "oppia kantapään kautta", learn via heel, which means learning hard way. Poor Murphy was learning via paw, that those striped flies are spiky.

Our neighbour’s cat is a bold one. Two years ago when we still had Smudge it came into our house and had Smudge’s food. Fortunately, Smudge was sleeping on his sofa chair and didn’t notice. Recently it has been coming over and eating Murphy’s food; Murphy caught him on one occasion and chased him well outside the house. A few days ago it returned and left undetected with the evidence that it came being that all of Murphy’s food was gone since like Smudge he doesn’t finish all of his food.

We’ve always had birds eat our cherries, then one year a raccoon and now Murphy🤣

Murphy is performing his duties with enthusiasm. And your neighbors cat has just been reading Bible, Acts 4:32-35: "Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common." That everything in common clearly includes cat food.   😄
