A while ago I discovered the scanned original combat diary of III./ Kampfgeschwader 51 for 1943 in a German archive. It was my primary source when I created the campaign missions. Like other Ju-88 equipped eastern front units KG 51 formed a specialized train busting Staffel in early 1943, that was based at Bagerovo on the Crimean Peninsula and flew missions mostly during the night far into enemy territory to hunt for trains.

Map:
Kuban

Requirements:
Battle of Kuban and Battle of Normandy

Installation:
Place the folder "TrainBusters" from the zip file into the games ...\data\Campaigns directory

Remark:
A mission is complete when the player returns to his home airfield.

Do not hide the entire HUD (H key) when flying missions. Doing so will disable the messages you receive during flight.

There are no waypoints in the missions, but you can use autopilot for take-off and landing.

Target areas are marked on the map.

A look at some of the documents I used for creating the campaign:

Не смог перевести кампанию на русский язык. В чем секрет, Юрий? Не могу понять.

If you want the campaign in Russian, you can just open the RUS files in a text editor and use Google translator. Copy and paste the translated text back into the files and save. I've never tried it with Russian, but for other languages this works quite well. You just have to make sure that the html code, like <br>, stays unchanged.

A good campaign, Juri! It isnt that many places for the Ju88c to shine! It struggles online! 😆

I almost finished the campaign, but with two kids, I don't always have the time for these longer flights!

Looking forward to the campaign you showed us with the Karelia/Leningrad map. 😀

I have 3 missions left to complete, but i love this campaign so far, definitely one of my favorites.Navigating at night with no fixed entry or exit points, searching for targets - though mission 3 left me paranoid,so in the later ones i could have hunted more at night, but i would head back after attacking just one train.Mission 3 got me killed multiple times since its not a night intrusion and had me cursing the command for sending me so early.

The Ju88C is also pretty pleasant to fly

No, nothing special after finishing the last mission.
