I was was not aware of this - Maybe this could be result in some interesting changes in my Pacific, BoF and BoB mods + the corresponding campaigns! (Hold to be investigated further)

At one point, when Korea is out, will we maybe be able to modify planes and even add modded ones? Then the game can live on with community-made updates, like IL-2 1946.

It's not impossible since we already have third-party maps and planes. It would be a huge effort, but you could probably make a crude North Africa map or a modified Normandy with more of England in it. I remember years ago someone tried to make a Malta map. I think they even had a small campaign for it.

I am not map expert, I can do only some small adjustments, adding, deleting some surfaces and modifying the mapstiles (horrible much work).
