TheNappingMan Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Anyone know the filenames for the smoky exhaust effects? I want to tone them down a bit on the WWI aircraft.
Stonehouse Posted January 16 Posted January 16 (edited) Not entirely sure but it seems like it might be circussmokeregular.txt in graphics\effects\air and smoke_volume.tga or smoke_volume.dds in graphics/textures/particles. Word of warning though the texture smoke_volume.dds is used by many different effects so instead of changing it perhaps clone it, alter the clone and point circussmokeregular.txt at the clone. You could also try altering the parameters systematically in circussmokeregular.txt noting it is possible this effects text is also used by more than one effect. It is quite difficult to tell without detailed analysis of efx and epl files.
