Manual control of aircraft management

Hello everyone, lately I've wanted to use manual aircraft control, but even though I've disabled the options in the reality settings, the AI continues to manipulate the RPM and vary the engine speed regardless of what I do.
In the IL2 Cliff of Dover I could control all the functions, but here I can't, or am I missing something?

First of all you should choose Great Battles subforum, not Korea's one.

Secondly, which aircraft exactly do you mean? Some IRL, like Bf-109 or FW-190, have automatic propeller pitch, radiators controls. Thought you are still able to switch to manual operations here, need to keybind it.

When exactly do you switch off the assistance? Is it in the mission settings?

In general, you are doing something wrong.

UPS, I didn't realize this was the Korea forum, and I've already solved the problem with the management settings... Administrators, please delete this post.

Hello again, in expert mode it's possible to configure the engines to start from cold; they always seem to be preheated.

Select Custom and uncheck "warmed up engines".  Why do you want a cold engine start?  It was common practice for the ground crew to warm up the engines before a mission start.

The problem with selecting custom mode is that the AI interferes with the engine's performance even if I uncheck all the options.

I have exploded many engines with zero interference with the assistance off.  There must be something else.

If you have "warmed up engine" unchecked, after start-up you would have to wait until the engine reaches operating temperature before applying a lot of throttle.  Was a big problem in Cliffs of Dover when the German bombers are overhead and you just started your engine and it's cold and won't take the throttle.  It was common practice in both World Wars for the ground crew to start the engine up and warm it up and get the oil circulated first thing in the morning.

In my case, that wasn't the issue.  I was exploding the engines through good, old fashioned negligence.  Would the AI assistance kick in with a cold engine e even though it's off, I wonder?  Hijoerdiablo is complaining about the ai getting all up in his business even though the assistance features are off.  I assume they just aren't off all the way?

Check to see if you have automatic engine management checked on in your realism settings.
