NEW: Part03 late Battle of Britain

This is my current pilot career

I will release the parts step by step after they are completed and I have flown the missions.
In IL-2 it is just 1 Campaign and the released missions of a new parts have to be copied into the existing campaign folder.
At the end I hope to have created a complete WW2 career from 1940-1945, but will it take ca. 1 - 2 years I suppose.
Each user / pilot can customize this campaign by adding self created missions, only mission naming syntax to be considered.
If a user / pilot does not own a IL-2 module that is used for a Part he can skip this Part or add self created missions.
The missions will be mostly generated with Easy Mission Generator by Vander or with my EMG Modifications.

How to be flown:
-with realistic settings
-without HuD, only cockpit view
-All information by Radio Messages
-Detailed description of mission design: see below.
-The Ailevels are low, but you have to survive many, many missions.
-All missions full missions from take off to landing.
-Mission flight time ca. 15minutes to 45minutes without time acceleration.
-Probability of enemy contact ca. 80% per mission.

And there is mentioned if an additional Mod has to be used and which IL-2 GB Modules / collector planes have to be used.

4.) If you want to install other Modpacks, Mods, Campaigns please check, that there is not a campaign with the identical folder name "Luftwaffe-WW2-Career-40-45" included to avoid that your campaign is overwritten and your awards deleted.

Short description 1940 Battle of Britain Mod:

Spoiler

-Map Mod only with 1940 existing RAF airfields, airfields changed to grass runways, all 1941-44 airfields removed, Manston smaller new layout

-Spitfire MKIa/MKIIs Mod:

-skin by Off_Winters (skin without cannons)

-weapon mod by me: only machine gun sound; rate of fire of 20mm Hispano MKII reduced, so that the

time for continuous fire is nearly the same as for the 0.303 Brownings (ca. 17seconds). Effect: reduced, but still effective volume

of fire to simulate the 8 x 0.303 Browning 1940/41 armament.

-British destroyer:

(destroyer7) with Gleaves main turrets and 40mm Bofors / 20mm Oerlikon AAA

   destroyer skin by Off_Winters

increased accuracy for novice / normal bomber gunners

reduced max. fire distance for BF109-E4 (and Spitfire MKIa / BF110-C)

-Weapon Mod: reduced 20mm MG-FF standard HE shell for simulation of BF109E3

-disable 1940 Battle of Britain Mod v03 in JSGME

-activate in the Mod the standard 20mm HE shells for the standard 20mm Oerlikon MG-FF:

rename /delete the xxx:

-replace the cockpit plate with the information concerning the E4/E7 Automatic Propeller Control with the Modded plate by

renaming /deleting the xxx:

(It's a german text, if this is not relevant for you you don't have to change, but I dislike a hint in a E3 for a automatic propeller controll)

image.png.f5d8873a641141f16fbf4d3d0607bfbb.png

General Note to avoid conflicts with other campaign downloads:

Spoiler

To fly this campaign will take a long time and of course we want to try to avoid the loss of the campaign results:

-If you install other campaigns, campaign packs or similar Battle of Britain Modpacks, please check that there will be no further campaign with the exact same campaign folder name "Luftwaffe-WW2-Career-40-45", otherwise your campaign could be overwritten.

-I suggest to make after each successfull mission screenshots of you current awards, and after each completed part of the campaign a screenshot of the Awards and the date in the filename.

Further Information about campaign design / how to fly:

Spoiler

Suggestion how to fly the missions:

image.png.77e92f6fdb2b517b6233d4f664ba7824.png

-I have flown each mission with Monitor or VR directly as campaign mission without testing.

-flight time: ca. 15-30minutes

-after enemy contact you can decide to fly home or to stay with your flight.

-but if you fly alone / seperated from your flight you will not be warned if the enemy attacks, better to return as fast as possible at low level...

General notes / information:

-Additionally installed in mission (+hints about german messages):

-Enemy plane reports by ground control (of course 1940 in BoF not accurate, only 10x10km grid from time to time)

Spoiler

example:

Hier ist Fuchs = Here is Fox

Nach Zielen suchen! = Search for targets!

im Planquadrat 1628 = In grid 1628

Example: of my 1st / current pilot:

Talk about ambition. And the Bf 109 is always a joy to fly.
