Game Startup...Crash

I was being returned to the opening screen when I tried to join a server, so I have cleared the Updater folders from IL2. The launcher screen verified the files and when I press play I get a little box . I haven't used VR for 6 or 7 months, am unable to at present. Can someone tell me what this is and how to solve it.  Meta Quest software have a driver update but I don't think that will solve the problem. I would put this on IL2 Forum, but from tomorrow no one will be able to write any reply! I have placed it there anyway.

It said:-

Open Composite Error - Info in Log
Open XR Call failed , aborting

C:/projects\openovr\DrvOpenXR\DrvOpenXR.cpp:83CreateSystemID

Errorcode:XR_ERROR_FORM_FACTOR_UNAVAILABLE

xrGetSystem(xr_instance, &systeminfo, &xr_system)

I posted on IL2 Reddit as well and got this reply:

Sounds like you need to copy the openvr_api.dll over the one that's in the game/bin folder. An update may have overwritten it at some point. I suggest using this one which is verified to work.

Thanks for that. When I unzip the link I dont see 'opencomposite openvr_api.dll' file. The nearest is 'OprnComposite\OSlcon.dll' Can I not just delete the file in the game/bin folder as I dont plan on using VR in future?
