Hosting server with meshnet

Hi all i am new to IL2  was wondering if anyone has managed to host a server using nordvpn meshnet, i know how to port forward but this method seemed good if it works, i really just want to play with a friend like on a lan, if that makes sense, thanks

As I understand it, Nord is dropping Meshnet soon, not enough interest to keep it going. I could find the email with the announcement on that if you need me to.

@VenomKraft, It is better to forward ports from your router to your computer once, as there will be less lag between you and the game than through any VPN.
