Since you're able to hop out of your plane, it would be amazing to be able to hop out of your tank as commander and walk on foot while being able to use your binoculars

So if a TC does come, PLEASE make it possible

I would also love the ability to walk around on foot - its especially useful if you come down behind enemy lines and you want to roleplay trying to make it back to your lines without being killed. Or even just walking around the airfield.. jumping into a Jeep and driving around... I often take the Gaz AA truck from TC out for a spin and just drive to the nearest town..its good fun.. I just wish I could remove the heavy AA gun and those 3 guys from the back! It makes the truck slower and more top-heavy! 

Btw, did you know Rise of Flight originally had the option to leave your plane and walk around on foot very early in development, but It was dropped. I saw a video from the Neoqb team offices from many years ago where one of the team was showing off this ability.. I really wish they had kept it..

No I didn't! They also had a wake turbulence model that looked pretty cool (but must have been scaled back due to limited resources). I'm still waiting for the Rumpler C.IV and the Roland D.VIb... both of which they had models for.

Returning to topic:

- They also have infantry

- They also have upgraded the entire terrain to be as detailed in its heightmap as Prokhhorovka!

So, yes, I'm hoping for such a feature.

Yes, me too. I have suggested a Collector Vehicle version with just cargo... I've also tried to mod it to remove the gun (it didn't work). It'd have been great to have a couple of cargo options and/or just an ability to remove the gun... we could've set up race tracks (without feeling as guilty when a roll-over happens)! 🙂

I would love a non-combat vehicle pack. For WW1:  the Crossley and Benz staff cars, plus the Daimler and Leyland trucks. For WW2: the Gaz, Horsch and Jeep cars, and the Ford,Gaz and Leyland trucks.

I would even be happy if someone could take the current low-poly 3d models of these vehicles and make them drivable with the same handling model as the current Gaz AA truck.. It would just be cool to have vehicles to drive around in...

 

BTW, love the racing idea.. maybe we should create a community event around this! Red team in the gaz trucks and blue team in the German AA truck thing!

To be absolutely honest - yes, I recall wanting to drive the staff car! I also tend to enjoy driving the AA vehicles a bit more when touring.

We do plan on having a drivable Jeep at some point after the initial release, so maybe we'll get there one day. 🙂

We do already have quite lot of tanks to be honest.. but not a single non-combat vehicle..

Any chance of getting a similar vehicle for the other sides as well? It will be a bit weird seeing the Soviets driving around in a Jeep..

Why not? The Soviets still had these vehicles left after the end of World War II.

My grandmother, a daring driver, rolled one of them over in a high-speed turn sometime in the 1950s.

haha fair enough! I guess I would also just like to have the Gaz as well, but if we only get the Jeep then we take what we can get!
