How to find old Forum contents and search them

As noted in the Announcement section, you can access the old IL-2 Great Battle forums at this address:  https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/

The problem is, you cannot search for a specific post on the forums, nor can you search for members posts.

Luckily there is a way around this.

Post the following in the search bar of your IE:

site:https://forum.il2sturmovik.com

After that, leave one space and then enter the word(s) you are looking for.

For example:  site:https://forum.il2sturmovik.com 4K skin templates

The search list will show all hits.  I checked this on one of my skin posts and the link to the skin still works.

You can also shorten the search criteria even further to just forum.il2sturmovik.com or il2sturmovik.com. The https part really isn't necessary.

Ngl, I miss the old forum. Seemed a lot more organized and it had everything on there already. They could've at least changed the appearance of it like in the war thunder forums. At least that would have made it actually new
