Do not have the Yak 1 Series 69 available in the game.

This may not actually be a technical issue or bug, but looking at some flight tutorials the two I have found that seem best to just start learning the proper way to fly in IL2GB are for the Yak 1 Series 69.  One of the tutorials said he used this plane since it is available to everybody that has the game.

I bought the Battle of Normandy and the Battle of Bodenplatte modules, I do not have the Yak 1 in my list of available planes

Looking at the early modules I see it only is listed with the Battle of Stalingrad module.

If I want to continue with learning with the Yak 1 do I have to buy Battle of Stalingrad module?

Yes, Yak-1 Series 69 is part of the Stalingrad planeset.

You can find other tutorials for the planes you already have too.
