Honestly, I don't think I'll ever have a favorite plane.
Based on my experience with IL-2 BoS, every plane has its moment, and they're all fun. If you ask me which one I'm most eager to fly, well, the IL-10 seems very interesting to me beacause the more powerfiull engine.
 But as I said, they'll all have their moment.

I am most excited to fly the Sabre. I have been tinkering with the DIY version of the B8 Stick from TheSimNet for quite some time now, and I will probably start using it in IL2 Korea. Mine is only missing the palmrest, otherwise it would be pretty close to a 1:1 version of the Sabre's control stick. Shapeswise atleast.

Probably the F-86 Sabre. It embodies the rivalry and drama of the Korean air war. The cat-and-mouse duels over “MiG Alley” are some of the most iconic dogfights in aviation history. I can't wait to see if IL-2 Korea can capture any of that!

• Why does it stand out to you? I like the idea of fly this kind of jets on an environment like IL2, the performance and visuals are much better than competitors.

Which Korean aircraft is your favorite:

Easy - Hawker Sea Fury.

Why does it stand out to you? 

The mighty Sea Fury is not only deadly, fast, sleek and beautiful, it could have slapped the X-Wings that attacked the Death Star.

Also, it was alleged that eight MiG 15s bounced a flight of Furies and in the ensuing dogfight, a MiG was shot down. As in the words of Sub-Lieutenant Brian 'Schmoo' Ellis:

'I cannot think of another piston engined aircraft that really got the better of us, it was extremely good at low level. Being in fighters meant taking as many opportunities as you could to practice dogfighting. For instance, during our passage in HMS Ocean to the Far East we exercised with the RAF who were flying Hornets out of Hong Kong. One of the exercises involved us making a simulated strike on the Colony, as it then was. It was very stoutly defended! I still remember now flying up and down the streets of Kowloon with a couple of Hornets after me - in those days low flying wasn't as sensitive an issue as it is now! It was tremendous fun.'

Seeing as I have ZERO interest in paying $100 for this game, I guess I'll throw my hat in the ring here.

As it is simply the most perfect and most beautiful airplane ever designed. Far from the cutting edge by the time of Korea, but I'd still love to do some ground attack in the old Prop planes (Hopefully we see some actual AI improvements to AAA and ground units aside from the pretty animations I'm never going to see from the cockpit.)

Was going to say the Corsair, because I love the radial engine piston planes, and those Seagull wings make it special. But you know I'm mostly a ground attack pilot so I'll say the Sky Raider (hopefully in the next carrier DLC). Why? Because PAYLOAD.

For me the Mig 15. Because it looks quite nice and it gives the visual impression that it was built to be fast and deadly.

For me it has to be either the F4U-5N or F7F-3N as I've always been a sucker for night fighters, especially twin engine ones. I really do hope we get to see night heckler missions in the game for both sides with the US having these two and others, while the communists flew their PO-2s, Yak-11s and 9Us during the night.
