Screenshots are all washed out...

Tested a couple screenshots, and they look nothing like the in game graphics.

They are all washed out looking, also the topographic map in the mission builder is super bright and very difficult to look at, the "satellite" view however is very good.

Try turning windows HDR off and see if it helps as an interim workaround. HDR issues were reported during beta testing but they haven't been addressed yet.

Open up the windows snipping tool settings. Toggle on "HDR screenshot color corrector". Should solve the problem, at least when using that tool to take screenshots.

I also started the sim with HDR ON in Windows display settings and everything was way too bright!

Thanks to this info here, graphics are normal now and I even get better frame rates.

Finally fixed mine, but via the game bar, hit window key + G while the game is up, go into the settings and be sure to peg IL-2 series as a recognized game with game bar and HDR selected for all displays.  Next time you open it IL-2 series will be listed as a recognized game.

You can also leave HDR enabled and use the in-game screenshot feature. These screenshots are then saved in BMP format in the game directory.
