Kubert Posted November 30, 2025 Posted November 30, 2025 (edited) I tried various careers recently and noticed that Kuban, Normandy and Bodenplatte airfields are more occupied as Moscow and Stalingrad. For example, Pitomnik looks almost abandoned and in Koih.im Kaganovicha are maybe three planes (if I remember correctly). Would be possible to add more parked planes to Moscow and Stalingrad airfields? At least to the same level as they are on the Kuban? 🤔 Edited November 30, 2025 by Kubert 3 Quote
Flashy Posted December 1, 2025 Posted December 1, 2025 Agreed! Also, we need statics for the missing aircraft. There are still many WW1 crates which have no statics, so we have S.E.5's and Albatross D.Va's on airfields in 1916.. very immersion-breaking! 2 Quote

Additionally I just found at least some further that could be used for 1916/17: And maybe the U-2 could be modded with a WWI skin too. Edited December 1, 2025 by kraut1 Quote
Kubert Posted December 1, 2025 Author Posted December 1, 2025 (edited) I'm not sure if the mission generator can use specific types of aircraft. That's why I only mentioned their number. If it could, then it would be nice to sort the airfields of the Western Front into American and British. So that the American airfield is not full of Spitfires and the like. Yes there are a few modeled, and one or two (N17 and Halb D2) can conceivably be used for 1916/early 1917 airfields, but there are still tons missing. As far as I recall, there are only statics for the WW1 aircraft shown in green here: Airco D.H.2, Airco D.H.4, Albatros D.II, Albatros D.III, Albatros D.Va, Breguet 14.B2, Bristol F2B F.II, Bristol F2B F.III, DFW C.V., F.E.2b, Fokker D.VII, Fokker D.VIIF, Fokker D.VIII, Fokker Dr.1, Fokker E.III, Gotha G.V., Halberstadt CL.II, Halberstadt CL.IIau, Halberstadt D.II, Handley Page 0-400, Hanriot HD.1, Nieuport 11.C1, Nieuport 17.C1, Nieuport 17.C1 (British), Nieuport 28.C1, Pfalz D.IIIa, Pfalz D.XII, R.E.8., S.E.5.a, Roland C.IIa, Sopwith 1½ Strutter, Sopwith 1½ Strutter B, Sopwith Camel, Sopwith Dolphin, Sopwith Pup, Sopwith Snipe, Sopwith Triplane, Spad S.VII, Spad S.XIII, SSW D.IV. I might have missed some (going purely on memory), but the point still stands: there are tons of aircraft which dont have a static. I dont really understand why they dont release the static at the same time as the full 3d model.. surely if you are hiring a team to go to all the effort of building a complicated 3d model with so much detail, its not going to be much extra work for them to create a basic static at the same time? EDIT: Just went and looked in the mission editor and its even worse than I remembered so I have edited the list above.. we literally have statics for 7 of the 40 aircraft in FC 😕 Edited December 2, 2025 by Flashy 1 Quote
Avimimus Posted December 12, 2025 Posted December 12, 2025 A static Fokker D.II would also make a lot of sense - the early fighter squadrons tended to mix all three (or four) types... so, even if it isn't flyable - a lower detail static model wouldn't go amiss. Quote
