New Corrected Download fixes last 2 missions July5,2024...

Download:  https://www.mediafire.com/file/t9luz3y4zdlcqxl/Kursk+Kanonen1.1.zip/file

The missions automatically have A-E-Hartmann's skin -Ju87G-2 "T6 + AD" Hauptmann HU Rudel, Kommandore III./SG 2, Koursk August 1943-  selected for the player (CAUTION:  skin has swastika!  If you do not want that then choose a different skin).

This Rudel skin found here:  https://www.mediafire.com/file/p5b8eaal90qe9ny/Ju87D3_Rudel.zip/file

Kursk Kanonen (Kursk Cannons) is a 10-mission single player scripted campaign in which the Player will fly the Ju 87G on the PROKHOROVKA map.  Missions are from July 5-9, 1943.  The time period is during the Battle of Kursk as the German Army heads toward Oboyan and Prokhorovka and finishes just before the clash at Prokhorovka.  Inspiration for the missions are from actual battles.

*Notes:

*You MUST HAVE the PROKHOROVKA MAP from TANK CREW and, of course, the Ju 87D-3 from Battle of Stalingrad.

*A mission is successful when the player destroys a target (usually 1 tank will trigger success).  If target objectives are completed then it is not necessary to make a landing.

*All missions start in the air as "Airstart" which allows for quick action.

*Mission descriptions are in English-only, sorry.

*Books cited:  Black Cross Red Star vol.5 by Bergstrom; The Battle of Kursk by Glantz; Demolishing the Myth by Zamulin.

*Some of these missions are revamped old single-player missions and hopefully will not slow down your computer as much.

*In mission #3 you must destroy at least one Churchill tank to get mission accomplished.

*Kraut1 had a MOD which makes the 37mm cannon more effective.

Note for future Sim updates:  Whenever Great Battles is updated, mission files get broken and must be updated, again and again, rendering them unplayable.  In order to fix the missions, open the IL-2 Sturmovik Mission Editor... in the TOOLS dropdown list, choose "Resave All Missions in Folder" and navigate to the Campaigns and/or Missions folder in your computer (IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles/data/Campaigns) and click "OK".
