GVL Posted November 29, 2025 Posted November 29, 2025 I invite you to show off your "cozy nests" in which you conquer the virtual sky! I'll start with mine. A couple of months ago, I finally finished my cockpit, and I've now installed everything I planned. The seat is from a Volkswagen, and it folds and can be easily removed from the cockpit frame if needed. The cockpit frame is made of 40x40, 40x80, and 20x20 aluminum profiles. For easy movement from the "parked" to the "combat" position, I use four paired rollers with locks to prevent rotation and pivoting. The "stewardess" is in its place 🙂 With the seat back raised, it looks like this: The Cockpit frame is equipped with: - a joystick with force feedback (FFBeast) and a VirPil Flanker handle. - my old pedals upgraded to FFBeast! and added brake pads. - Throttle FFBeast! and an additional panel in the style of "Mustang". - Collective FFBeast! With a handle from VirPil. - Two "shakers," one located in front of the pedals, the other under the seat. Controlled by SimHaptic software. - The right side provides access to all power connections, a USB hub, and a shaker amplifier. I also access my seat through the right side. And this is what it looks like from the back. There are also two power supplies located under the seat. 20 Quote
