It should be available soon. Cool! Isnt Juri also working on something like that? 😄 seems that Detachment Kuhlmey is becoming a popular unit to cover. No doubt going to be interesting as the finish part of the Karelia map is extremely detailed! All the farms and houses. Imagine if all maps had this kind of details! Quote

I'm not sure, I would have to look back at previous posts. Detachment Kuhlmey is the only way to go if you want to use certain planes on the Karelia map. I don't think there is a conflict. It is great material for a campaign if he is in fact doing it. Quote

Im pretty sure he has been showing off pictures of a campaign, and he mentioned that he actually had more than one in the works 😁 If you are talking about the Fw190 i am trying to figure out if it might have been used in another part of the map at that time also 😄 its not easy i do only have access to the internet and a very limited supply of books. Looking forward to your mission, the i153 mission you made for the Leningrad map was good! Your many details along the flightpath showed me what very cool thing we can do with this incredible detailed map! 1 Quote

I haven't checked in detail about material for German Campaigns on that part of the map in 1944 yet, but the Kuhlmey Group had Stukas and FW 190 A-6 Jabos in summer 1944 with lots of action. The Germans were busy retreating into Estonia, so there is more limited opportunity there. Glad you liked the I-153 mission, it is a very nice map to make missions on with lots of interesting scenery. 1 Quote

I have a finished Gefechtsverband Kuhlmey campaign pack for Ju-87 D-5, Fw-190 A-6 and Fw-190 A-8. It might be released as official free campaigns, but that isn't 100% certain yet. 3 1 Quote

Some interesting battles happened during this time, and small parts of JG54 and SG units were probably active, having registered victories. But this is of course not a discussion for the picture forum. 😉 Quote

GrumpyGnome Posted Monday at 09:22 PM Posted Monday at 09:22 PM 7./JG 52 9 August 1944 Feldwebel Hans-Rudolf Bocks and 2 companions attack a flight of 3 B-26s. Two B-26s will fall, 1 to Bocks, the 3rd limping away. Bocks will claim a P-51 with-in the next 3 minutes. Thus bringing his total to 4. 5 1 Quote

AndreiTomescu Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago i know it's historically accurate, but i wouldn't have put that flag there. Anyhow, the level of detail seen in this sim, including ground objects, says one thing: from passionate people to passionate people. Beat this, WorldThunder people ! 🙂 2 2 Quote
