Artiglio Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Andrei, did you really think I'd abandon you in the freezing cold of Leningrad?... p.s. I just hope the grappa lasts us on the way back...Β π 6 Quote

kestrel79 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 The new maps look amazing. Would love to see this team get access to the older maps and go back and revisit all the existing maps and update some more custom objects into them like they did with the new maps. Well done Finnish team! 1 1 Quote

Anyway, the pleasure was all there, my dear Andrei. We had fun, even if it was virtual, in this world that brings us catastrophes every day, a smile, even if only in this way. It's good for the soul... Cheers to you, friend π 1 1 Quote
MajorMagee Posted February 7 Posted February 7 (edited) Since we have 15 inches of snow on the ground and sub zero wind chill outside I thought I would do my playing in the snow virtually. Taken with my Ground Combat Mod enabled to take the shine off the paint. Edited February 7 by MajorMagee 11 Quote
AndreiTomescu Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Sooo....what a strange thing happened !Β I was being towed by Artglio's Lamborghini tractor, after my belly landing. This nice man fed me some Grappa juice, and since the road from southern Leningrad to Bologna (my favorite italian place) is quite long, i had quite a lot of this awesome booze, and i've passed out.... Next thing I know.....here I am: My name is Andreas Tomasso, i'm an italian pilot, strapped tight in the seat of a incredible beautiful aircraft. I'm an unknown country, on an airfield called Iasi, and around me a language that I almost understand is spoken! == for those of you that know the TV series "Quantum Leap", i guess this is the case! πΒ anyhow, to be continued.......== 6 3 Quote

AndreiTomescu Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Tonight's episode is about my first actual combat mission that i was given in my new life as an Italian pilot: find , intercept and engage a low level flying bandit. This am I in the cockpit! Look how accurate the instruments panel is!! As you easily recognize, the bandit was not a beautiful and kind I-153, but a really indestructible machine.....a Il-2 ! She turns very good , she climbs almost VERTICAL longer, and it's practically invulnerable against 2 MG, even with 12.7 caliber. Even with mixed explosives. Now this is an interesting image. All happened so fast, i barely had time to hit the printscreen key.Β The AoB for the bandit was about 150 degrees starboard! If i didn't pull up, we would have collided. The Il-2 was doing about 300 km/h.Β My aim was although pretty good/lucky, because as it crossed my nose, i've heard some clear hits. After i reversed, i saw that fortunately the pilot managed to bail out, so i didn't hit the cockpit, but the engine. But the height was too low, the parachute didn't inflate, it just felt to the ground, and the plane crashed and exploded at contact. Β 3 1 Quote
AndreiTomescu Posted February 9 Posted February 9 My son suggested to record each flight and choose afterwards some images from that. But can i do it with a recorder external to the game? As to not use the same single core that the game uses....Β Like a chrome extension, screen recorder?Β Β 1 Quote
