SRS - any limits to intercom availability?

Hi,

I'm trying to set up SRS on my home PCs so I can play multicrew with the kids.

It's running fine using the radio but I'm not getting audio across via the intercom. On the SRS overlay the pilot's overlay shows a man icon with a 1 but the crew's doesn't show any man. (Same even if I swap roles between PCs)

I was wondering if there are any limits to intercom implemented for realism, e.g. limitations in some crew positions or unidirectional. I've tried IL-2 1942 with rear gunner mod, and He-111 with various gunner positions.

Otherwise it anyone has an insight on what I might be overlooking I'd appreciate it. On the server client list both players show up with blue dots next to them. The startup.cfg telemetry entry looks fine.

Ok so on the SRS Support Discord from May 2025 Ciribob wrote

Sorry the intercom doesnt quite work right and unfortunately no way to fix it as the export from IL2 isn't returning what I'd expect
For now just tune to the same radio (you have two if its enabled)

Would probably be worth noting on the SRS post or in the app directly.

This is fine if I'm playing a single plane server with multicrew but I presume the crew chat will spam the radio for everyone else on Multiplayer.
